John O’Neill & Associates, Architects and Interior Designers Ltd is a practice with a reputation for innovative contemporary design run by John O’Neill and Ros O’Loughlin graduates of the School of Architecture at University College Dublin.

The practice has existed in many forms since Ros and John left Stephenson (Sam) & Associates to set up practice in 1980.
The recession of the mid ‘80’s saw a sojourn in Zimbabwe and subsequent work with Gerry Cahill Architects before starting again in 1991.

Having grown during the boom time of the Celtic Tiger, producing a portfolio of much publicized works, the practice is now back to basics with an exciting range of smaller projects that include:

A Taxi Cab office in the Car Park of The Penny Hill Licensed Premises in west Dublin designed to be its own best advertisement.(Under construction)

4 houses at the rear of our offices in Irishtown designed as flexible space suitable for conversion to office use. (Out to tender)

A Development of 59 Apartments in Clontarf designed to take advantage of the southerly orientation and the view of the bay. (On Appeal)

A house in Kildare which will be integrated into an ambitious landscape plan designed to continue over the structure. (Design Stage)

A hotel extension on a narrow laneway off the quays in Dublin designed to give each bedroom a glimpse of the river. (Design Stage)
